Should U let your 11 year old have Snapchat?
Legally, you are supposed to be at least 13 years old to use Snapchat (although like Instagram, many kids under 13 are already using it). If you are under 18, you are supposed to get parental permission. There is a version for kids under 13 called Snapkidz. For now, I wont let my 11 year old get Snapchat.
Its an interesting experiment: The creators of Snapchat, the social app for sharing photos that disappear in seconds, have just introduced SnapKidz, a non-social photo app for kids under 13 with Apple mobile devices (its not yet available for Android). So, true to its name, its basically the snap without the chat.
